Save and Continue Later Booth SpecificationsAll vendors will be supplied with a 10‘x10’ lot space, as well as 1, 10‘x10’ anchored tent with no walls, 2 folding chairs, and 1 folding table. You may use your own tent, provided that it meets the City of Calgary fire retardant requirements. You will be solely responsible for the tent, and Calgary Pride will not be able to provide a replacement if the Fire Marshall deems it unfit for the festival. If you are supplying your own tent, it must be brought in and set up on the Saturday before the event (September 3rd). You will also be responsible for providing and installing your own means of securing the tent (e.g. concrete blocks, sand bags) to prevent any movement in the wind. Stakes will not be permitted due to underground irrigation lines. PLEASE NOTE: Due to changes in site infrastructure, we are no longer able to allow vehicles to enter the park for loading and unloading. Calgary Pride reserves the right to deny, revoke, suspend or prohibit an entrant from participating in the forthcoming Calgary Pride Parade and Festival, as well as all future events, should the entrant be found to be operating in contravention to the above statement of values.I, the applicant, on behalf of the above organization, commit to uphold the values of the Pride Calgary Planning Committee.* I agree GuidelinesThe information contained below constitutes a contract between Pride Calgary Planning Committee, and the applicant. Please thoroughly review prior to continuing. Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances are not permitted anywhere at the Parade or Festival, with the exception of alcohol sales within the confines of the Beer Gardens. If you are found to be in possession of these substances in breach of this agreement, you and your organization will be required to leave the Festival immediately, and will be subject to all applicable compliance failure fees and bans. All payments and deposits are non-refundable, regardless of weather, illness, or other condition or situation. Returned cheques will be charged a fee of $50. Payments are due at the time of registration. Spaces are limited, and will be granted in the order in which payments are made.I have read and agree to the guidelines above.* I agree Festival Specific GuidelinesBooth setup will commence at 8:00AM, and be completed by 11:30AM on the day of the Festival. Tear down of booths will commence at 6:00PM, and be completed by 9:00PM on the day of the Festival. Failure to comply with this schedule, including early and/or late setup/tear-down, will not be tolerated, and will result in the removal of your booth (if applicable) and will be subject to all applicable compliance failure fees and bans. Upon arrival at the Festival grounds, a designated representative from your organization must meet with the Festival Director to check in and receive lot assignment. This representative will act as the liaison for the Festival Director, and be responsible for compliance with these guidelines. Check in with the Festival Director must be completed by 11:00AM, or risk forfeiture of lot space. Lot spaces must be returned to their original condition at the conclusion of the Festival. Vendors are not required to tear down the provided tents, tables or chairs. All garbage and recycling must be removed by the vendor occupying the space prior to 9:00PM. Pride Calgary Planning Committee will not be held responsible for any injuries, damage or theft sustained by your booth or it’s associated members during the Festival. This includes during the setup and tear down periods. The Festival strongly encourages vendors to keep their booth occupied at all times.I have read and agree to the guidelines above.* I agree Compliance FailureFailure to comply with these guidelines will result in a fine of $200.00 on the first offence, a $250.00 fine and one year ban on the second offence, and a $300.00 fee and lifetime ban on the third offence. Each offence will be officially recorded by the Festival Director or their representative, and kept on permanent file. A copy of each compliance failure will be sent to the registered organization within two weeks of the conclusion of the Festival.I have read and agree to the guidelines above.* I agree Completing applicationThe act of receiving an online application shall not be deemed to impart or imply any obligation for Calgary Pride to accept any bid or application. Upon approval of an application, the successful applicant will be notified via email of their acceptance into the 2016 Pride Festival. Applications will be considered incomplete and will not be placed on hold if full payment is not made. Refunds for cancelled applications will be issued after Pride Week 2016.
