Calgary Sexual Health Centre is facilitating Community Bystander Training for Lethbridge
Community bystander training offers the practical skills needed to recognize when and how to help when witnessing power-based violence. By creating a culture of consent, we can encourage a more caring community where we look out for each other and demand safer spaces free of sexual violence and harassment.
The Calgary Sexual Health Centre aims to normalize sexual health in Alberta by providing evidence-informed, non-judgmental sexual and reproductive health programs and services.
This is important to us, and alligns with FLIP Fest’s mandate to create an encouraging and inclusive Lethbridge music community for female and gender-non-conforming artists.
Everyone is welcome to take this training, the workshop cost was generously donated so that it could be accessible.
Please practice active listening and respect for your fellow participants
Bystander Intervention Training is the full 3 hours
Coffee/ tea will be provided by LPIRG
